NEW Opportunity with the T4LC

Colleagues in conversation

Join the Teaching for Learning Center for the next Academic year (2025–2026) as a Teaching Liaison. The Teaching for Learning Center offers new faculty leadership-service positions to help the Center make meaningful and impactful connections with our colleges and schools. As part of the T4LC Strategic Plan, 2025–2030, we envision that the new T4LC Liaisons will serve as key partners in advancing a campus culture of inclusive, effective, and innovative teaching. As part of their responsibilities, they will help identify and communicate their college’s teaching priorities, coordinate customized T4LC offerings for their college, celebrate exceptional instruction, and share effective practices across departments and disciplines. As a part of this new cross-campus network, T4LC Liaisons will meet regularly with T4LC staff and fellow liaisons to exchange ideas, address challenges, and support strategic teaching and learning initiatives. The scope of work is estimated to be 1–2 hours per week during the regular academic year.

Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time faculty members or instructors. *Please note new, more broad eligibility requirements, thanks to input from the T4LC Advisory Board members who have heard of greater interest from assistant professors and instructors.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • At least 2 years of teaching at MU
  • Familiarity with the T4LC mission and programs;
  • A strong desire to improve student learning and success through professional development for teaching.

Faculty members and instructors interested in serving in this role for AY2025–2026 should submit this application by May 23, 2025. A short letter of support from the applicant’s supervisor should be emailed to teaching@missouri.edu, also by May 23, please.
